Product Description

A clear turquoise, bright but not sharp, closer to sea than to sky.

Small ivory butas sit wide apart across the body. The border is an ivory band worked in meenakari, the coloured silk threadwork of Banaras, in rose, plum and orange. The pallu carries the same flowers in full, held between woven stripes.

Meenakari is colour laid into the weave itself and not printed on top, so it holds for the life of the saree.

Pure silk, certified by the Silk Mark. From our own looms in Banaras. 6.5 metres in all, including the unstitched blouse piece.

Fabric: Pure Silk Chiffon

Length: 6.5 metres, with matching blouse piece
