Product Description

A turquoise that stays bright from fold to fall.

The body is woven in bands, triangles of silver meeting across the width with small butis between them. The border is a silver band of flowers. The pallu opens into a jangla, a dense silver vine that covers the whole ground.

A jangla is the most thread heavy thing a Banarasi loom makes, and here it runs the pallu end to end.

Pure silk, certified by the Silk Mark, woven on the handloom in Banaras. 6.5 metres in all, including the unstitched blouse piece.

Fabric: Pure Silk Khaddi Chiniya

Length: 6.5 metres, with matching blouse piece
