Product Description

A pale aqua, the green-blue of sea glass.

Sprays of gold flowers run in diagonal rows across the body. The border is a slim band of gold. The pallu is woven in fine stripes of gold tissue, tissue being cloth with zari carried through the weave so that it catches the light across its whole surface.

The diagonal sprays give the saree movement even as it lies still.

This saree is an imitation of Muga silk, the golden wild silk of Assam, woven wholly from natural Mulberry silk twisted to give the feel and touch of Muga. It remains 100% pure silk. From our own looms in Banaras. 6.5 metres in all, including the unstitched blouse piece.

Fabric: Pure Mulberry Silk

Length: 6.5 metres, with matching blouse piece
